Hi team.
I hope you're all well.
I've recently pulled my NN3 Mecha DAC out of storage for a specific project I've been asked to create, so I need a bit of advice.
Basically, a hotel manager has asked for a high definition image of the milky way to print on the hotel reception wall at 7.5m x 3.6m
I am looking at a total FOV on the long edge of 100 degrees and 45-60 degrees on the short edge.
I'm still contemplating whether to shoot at 85mm or 55mm.
I'll be using a sony a7rii with 42mp sensor.
I'd like to achieve about a 30% overlap.
The NN Mecha will be fitted to a German equatorial mount & therefore will compensate for the earths rotation, therefore I just need a Z pattern to shoot a rectangular pano in portrait orientation.
At 85mm I'm thinking I need at least 6 rows high & 5 columns across.
I'll need a pan angle of about 11 degrees and a tilt of 16 degrees
Can anyone recommend a script or preset for this configuration please?
Many thanks in advance.
Joseph.
