  • Need help making a decision

Hi All. I am looking for some help/making a buying decision. I am looking to buy a Nodal Ninja NN4 but want to make sure
it fits my needs. I have a vanguard Alta Pro tripod, a Nikon D800 and a Sigma 24-70 2.8 lens wich i want to use to photograph
some hotelrooms. 360 would already be nice enough but 360/180 would be even nicer of course. I have seen a starterpackage
    at B&H

Is this package going to be enough for my setup and needs? someone will bring it to me from US so i need to be sure it all
fits on my tripod, camera etc and that i will be able to make the shots needed. I plan to buy the PTGui software to stich
it all for me. Hope i have given enough info for anyone who can help me out. If not, please let me know!

    Thnx in advance,

24mm lens is not very wide. It will take 26 images to complete the sphere.
    Shooting pattern:
8 images every 45° at -60° pitch, 8 images every 45° at 0° pitch, 8 images every 45° at +60° pitch, Zenith up shot, nadir down shot.

It is recommended to get a fisheye lens for spherical panos. You can get Samyang 8mm Fisheye II for 3-4 shots around, or Samyang 12mm F2.8 for 6 shots around.

NN4 is a good head for them and should work for your 24-70mm as well.

    We listen. We try harder.
