    Thanx, I will try that.
BTW, am I doing it right with the 12 shots for 3 rows?
https://panocatcher.com/panoplanner/ says I have to have more rows, less shots at -+0 degrees, , I know I should try and find out my self, but I am asking as I am planning to buy a prime lens , 24 or 20, so are this site calculation are good?

    hanx again

if camera is in parked position you can specify that with SP

    SP,Z,N,0X12,45X12,-45X12

if you want a pause before first row, for some adjustments, you can add a P before that row (or any row)

    SP,Z,N,P0X12,45X12,-45X12

to continue from pause you can click on [PAUSE] or press short the [>] button of MECHA

Thanx, I use Kolor Autopano to stitch images.
now am using a 28-300, @28, my settings is:

    Z,N,0X12,45X12,-45X12
SL does not raise camera from park to level, so I do it using <2
    1 IMG
    AF 1 sec
    W 0 SEC
    B 2 SEC
    M 1 SEC
    E 1 SEC
    A 1 SEC
    90
    X1
    WAIT
    NO REPEAT
    6 RPM
    16+128 uStep
    HEAVY LOAD

These are what I think is good after reading some posts and manual, I take 3 shots bracketing continuous mood, and its ok , the B I guess is for waiting for camera to settle as I noticed some shakes (D850+28-300 are heavy stuff)
but it takes almost 6 minutes in good lighting,

If you have a preferred shooting pattern, say a PTGui file (no images, only the file is needed)
I can show what is the script and where you need to change it

The presset downloaded I believe was with rather complicated pattern in square shape

but there here a simple form of scripting to specify a spherical panorama.
e.g. for 50mm on FF a panorama can be covered by
1 row at 75 deg, made of 5 shots
1 row at 50 deg, made of 11 shots
1 row at 25 deg, made of 16 shots
1 row at 0 deg, made of 17 shots
1 row at -25 deg, made of 16 shots
1 row at -50 deg, made of 11 shots
1 row at -75 deg, made of 5 shots
    this can be scripted as

    SL,75x5,50x11,25x16,0x17,-25x16,-50x11,-75x5

SL stands for Start (and end) in Level position

SP, or SR can be used instead for Parked or Raised positions.

If is need for Zenith or Nadir shot, they need to be added after SL,
e.g. SL,Z,N, or SL,ZZ,NN, for one or two photos at 90 deg apart.
    e.g. SL,N,Z,75x5,50x11,25x16,0x17,-25x16,-50x11,-75x5

Just to be sure about the pairing

    1. Power off both MECHA units in case they are running. To do that, hold down the power button ⏻ for 3-5 seconds.
    > both should be OFF
    2. Power up the horizontal MECHA (hold down the power button for 3-5 seconds).
    > only MECHA-H needs to be powered at this time

When you see the splitting lights ( -=-=-=-= ), press the button [1] for 3 seconds (until multiple beeps are heard).
The unit powered up first, rotates horizontally, so we name it MECHA-H.

    3. Power up the other MECHA using its power button
    > this will be MECHA-V
    > let the MECHA-H running
and when you see the splitting lights ( -=-=-=-= ), press the button [2] for 3 seconds (until multiple beeps are heard).

if this is not working, please contact me at
    mecha(at)nodalninja.com

We'll solve the issue and see what had cause it
