    if you need more help
if is something corrupted in flash memory you can try

    from /config
    please click/tap on
    [Backup Data]
then after the file is saved
be sure you have the file saved, you can also send it to me through e-mail, it contains no sensitive data.

    then enter
    192.168.8.1/format
then wait until the internal memory is formatted and MECHA restarts

    then enter
    192.168.8.1/restore
and click on [Upload Data] and provide the file you saved before.

    then test the script again.

Format it and go in order and it works fine.

Let me ask you another question.

Only if mounted in the longitudinal direction.

Do you have any plans to provide the parameters that can be used when mounted horizontally?

Yes, will be a option to tell
          1) if camera is mounted in portrait (as for now - default), landscape
          or
          2) by inputting an arbitrary aspect ratio, which can accomodate both.

I'll see if (1) can be added quickly.

This was just introduced, made few quick tests and seems to work,
worth testing more before use it in production

            A test with

            35mm Portrait (default) as before
            the auto-generated script was

            SL,0x13,-45x11,45x11,ZZ,NN

Click image for larger version Name:	35mm-P.jpg Views:	0 Size:	783.0 KB ID:	33017

            and
            35mm Landscape
            the auto-generated script was

            SL,0x8,-26.80x8,-53.60x6,26.80x8,53.60x6,ZZ,NN

            Added in /config
[x] Camera is in Portrait Orientation. (default is thickened)
when enter, say 35mm or 35mm2 at number of shoots around via custom,
the shooting pattern will be computed considering the camera orientation.

              Hi Dorin

When using Single MECHA and entering 24mm in the Shots field in the UI,

              "SL,0x10,-51.40x9,51.40x9,ZZ,NN" script is created.

The position at which the shooting starts looking at the front and pauses after 10 shots is taken is the shot before coming to the front.

Is there any way to pause where you started from?

When you come back to the front, it is more convenient to operate the vertical axis.

                For now, please enter

                24mm2

                in UI,
that will compute the preset using the repeat way,
the tilting is after panning in that way, so the manual adjusting is in front

                1. Mecha it possible.
                2. Mecha it easy.
                3. Mecha team up.

I'll see tomorrow if 24mm could have pause after panning, just like in 24mm2.

The pause is moved now after the panning, so it should be at front in both ways.

                      ----------------------8<-------------------------------------

                      C1E_02169

The pause for manual tilting when a dual axis script is used on a single axis MECHA is moved now after panning,
just like in the way which uses the repeat.

                        Thanks Dorin.

                        I have another question.

When paused after taking the first row, press PAUSE on the UI or ">" on the MECHA to operate normally.
However, if you press "<" in MECHA, NEXT is displayed on the UI and pauses for each cut.
You have to keep pressing the NEXT button until the shooting is over to start the next shooting.
Is there any special reason for this?

                          when MECHA is in "pause"
                          1) [>] will un-pause
                          or
                          2) [<] switch to( or off from) "step by step" mode and requires [>] or [NEXT] to advance to any next position
if MECHA is in "step by step" and you press [<] again it exit from step by step

                          this was enhanced in C1E_02148

                          ---------8<-----------------------------------------------------------

                          C1E_02148
                          Enhanced the "Pause" mode
Added 21< code which will switch MECHA to or off pause mode, the same as clicking on [Pause] in UI or on IR Remote.
If MECHA is in pause mode, LEDs will blink like : , if is in idle status is slow blink or if is running presets and paused is the regular blink.
If MECHA is in pause mode and a preset is started, MECHA will pause before every position, resulting in step by step movement.
When is running a preset and is paused, pressing [>] or [>||] on IR Remote or [PAUSE/NEXT] in UI, MECHA will continue to next position.
If, instead, [<] is pressed on MECHA or on IR Remote, MECHA will continue to next position and switch on/off the step by step mode.
                          The above allows both:
                          1) starting of a preset in step by step, then switch off step by step when is not needed, thus the preset will continue automatically.
                          2) if a preset is paused by remote/UI/script, then pressing [<] will advance and switch on/off the step by step.
Possible application will be a spherical panorama with certain areas needs to be done step-by-step, and which areas, depends on events on the field.

During the pause, pressing [O] on IR Remote, or [SHOOT] in UI, MECHA will trigger number of shoots, specified by [IMG] in presets.
This can be used for extra shoots for a particular position.
                          1. Mecha it possible.
                          2. Mecha it easy.
                          3. Mecha team up.
