Preset/Script for 2 focal lengths

I would like to make a pano for an Art Gallery, I want to use the 50 mm for horizontal row while the rest will be using 24mm as the floor/ceiling are not that important.
I need to set the Mecha to take the first row or 2, then pause so I can chang the focal length, and continue the shoot, or vice versa.
I asked at ptgui forum, they said it would stitch it with no problems

Do you want some particular presets for 50mm and 24mm to be combined or the default ones that MECHA produces for 50mm and 24mm?

Or else, please describe the rows at which angles and how many shots pe row
and where you want the pauses to be.

you'll be able to change it easily, as usual, e.g instead of 18 shoots you want 22 simply change 18 with 22.

I want to start from SL, 2 rows of 19 shots maybe at +-15 (for 50mm shots), then Pause so I can set lens to 24, after resuming, I guess 2 rows to cover Floor and Ceiling plus NZ

The script can be then

SL,-12x19,12x19,P-50x10,50x10,ZZ,NN

will be two rows of 19 for 50mm (at +-12) , two rows of 10 for 24mm (at +-50), 2 Zeniths in cross and 2 Nadirs in cross.
P is for pause

thanx, how to resume after Pause, from UI I have to press pause again to resume, but what if I save it to controller?

When is saved on controller and preset launched by buttons

at pause, MECHA will blink like this



Now
a) if you press [>] will continue the preset until at end
b) if you press [<] instead, will take one shot and pause again > then you can use (a) or (b) case again


In this case you'll change the focal length, set the focus properly (if needed) and press [>]
you can also use the NN remote, if you have it.

Better use this

SL,12x19,-12x19,P-50x10,50x10,ZZ,NN

I only changed some signs to have better movement efficiency,
the same shots, the same overlap map,
just the order of rows is different.

This is how the movement will look like

The script is Ok, but seems to be a bug, MECHA doesn't come back in level position at the end
when the script ends in ,NN (two nadirs)
but does return if ends in ,N (1 nadir only)

I'm investigating now and fix ASAP

Addressed an issue in MSS scripts, when the script ended with NN (for two nadirs) MECHA didn't return to initial position e.g. level.

I used this:
SL,0X19,P-40X10,40X10,Z,N
19 shots using 50mm and the rest 24mm, I used one row to save on memory, but I have problem stetching.
Overlap is there but maybe its not enough.
What do you think please?

You can try with rows at +- 35

24 on middle row



or

SL,0X24,P-35X12,35X12,ZZ,NN

with 24 on middle 12 on other rows



or just

SL,0X20,P-35X12,35X12,ZZ,NN

with 20 on middle and 12 on others
