I'm sure you'll be very happy with C1 on hot-shoe.
For sure Nick, as always, will provide great solution for the investment, with an easy kit to adapt C1 on hot-shoe by customer, and you'll find all the C1 does useful as well, I'm watching this space, C1 will be best friend for both customers, cameras and other devices.

    MECHA C1, your powerful friend!

I don't have c1. If c1 is only used as a wireless signal transmitter, I think it is a bit wasteful and a bit expensive. If there is a smaller and cheaper device to solve it, it is best. Of course, if the manufacturing cost of the factory is too high , I can also accept c1 as a transition plan.

In preset, Number of triggers was set to "1 TRG" because User Manual says the following:

"TRG — Number of camera triggers for each position. Select zero if no trigger is needed. When using automatic exposure bracketing in continuous shooting or self-timer mode, MECHA treats it as 1 trigger." My camera is set to automatic exposure bracketing in continuous shooting (see above camera settings).

If I change to "3 TRG" it works. Is the User Manual incorrect or the Mecha is not working correctly?
I'm having a problem. After, changing to "3 TRG", the Mecha interprets my script as single "Ring" instead of "Row". Not sure if I changed something else in advertently or if it is a different issue. Please see settings in attached screenshots:

I think a new device is needed for customers without an existing, extra C1, but it would be ideal to also have a kit or adapter so a customer who already has a C1 could use it as a remote camera controller without having to send it back to the factory for modification or if they wanted the flexibility to use the C1 as a Mecha controller or camera remote. I realize it may not be feasible to make an adapter or user conversion kit. If not, then maybe Fanotec could offer a prepaid Fedex shipping label that would help and make it easier to return it to the factory for conversion. Then all the customer has to do is pack it and drop it off at a Fedex shipping location. No customs documents would be required. The cost could be included in the charge for the conversion.

It would be much preferred to have a customer kit to convert their C1 themselves. An adapter would be even better if possible so that a C1 could be used for remote control of camera or as Mecha controller as needed by the user.

the batteries are heavy in C1 but that is good, last longer :)

But you might get a 185g if is stated so, perhaps is re-inforced to be mechanic stronger.

Tested and works, the option for trigger will be in next FW update of C2
the FSC will be added later, overall is a good step as it frees of the trouble about cables,

Again, this is an option, C2 will trigger in the same time, regardless of having or not the remote cable.
SO, C2 for rotation, C1 for triggering ? great, if C1 can be smaller, I think battery life is very long, I do a lot of testing/shooting never ran out of juice, charge every 5/7 days, just to make sure I am ok. so I guess a trigger version of C1 an be smaller reducing battery size.
Don't know about C2, too hot to test with temp at 48 C daytime and 32C night.

then TRG actually tells MECHA how many confirmation it needs to receive before to continue to move,
When is not ( FSC and E:SHT C1. ) TRG needs to be 1 as User's Guide says

The exception will be added in the next rev of the User's Guide.
Thank you. Makes sense. I would also suggest adding a special section to the next rev of the User's Guide just for AEB that explains ALL the settings needed when using Shutter Confirmation. Right now they are scattered in multiple places so its easy to miss one.

These cables make me have to give up using the IR remote, because too many cables make it difficult to use the Nadir Adapter.

I hope your team can design a new component, connect the pc line and the shutter cable, and c2 will receive the signal from this new component.

    Thank you!
If you want to receive signal for IR remote at any position, you need to let it hanging in the air. Then there is very small chance of blocking the IR beam.
