    C2E_12291
Addressed an issue regarding the partial panorama set by corners if the upper rail is Parked or Raised and the preset was for Level, the adjusting for level ended up in an unwanted vertical offset.
After this fix, the correct procedure is to adjust the upper rail in expected position (Level/Parked/Raised) then to set the corners.

    C2E_12290
Increased the responsiveness of the buttons when in OLED Menu.

    C2E_12289
    Added in /config

it will be used in both shutter confirmation and test of shutter confirmation.
If the test fails, please try with this option disabled as well.
Use E:SHT C1 or E:SHT C. only if the test has success,
otherwise use the Button Confirmation instead, like E:BTN > C. or E:BTN > CT

    C2E_12288
    Optimizations of Shutter Confirmation feature.
The Shutter Confirmation now works via other MECHA also for C2+, when camera and PC-Sync cable is connected to another C1/C2 mounted on hot shoe.

Addressed an issue caused the display to become black when battery is depleted and only the beeps were heard.

    C2E_12281
In presets set on OLED Menu, added the possibility to specify mapping either as sphere (default) or grid,
in the later the number of positions will be the same on every row.
Added the possibility to specify Normal or ZigZag (horizontal) about how the positions are executed in rows, row by row.

Added the possibility to define partial panorama by "Up-Left" and "Down-Right" corners.
This is for presets made on OLED (starting with "+" in name)
When MECHA asks for "SET POSITION", press [=] then use arrow buttons to rotate the panoramic head to point at the up-left corner of wanted partial panorama then press [o] and rotate the panoramic head to down-right corner of the wanted partial panorama and end by pressing [o].
pressing [=] again MECHA walk through those two corners which can be further adjusted.
The speed used for panoramic head rotations, when using arrow buttons, can be adjusted in [C 32] "ARROWS speed", if needed.

    C2E_12280
Enhanced the way to set in a preset in OLED Menu, when entering number of shots (sh) instead of (mm),
now can be set up to three tilts of the row. e.g.

The order of the rows and the completion with Nadirs and Zeniths
can be further set by MDU,ZZ,NN settings.
e.g. MDU--- will mean no Nadir nor Zenith, whilst MDU,Z,N will mean one Zenith and one Nadir, so on..

    C2E_12279
Addressed an issue about panorama created in OLED Menu, with auto, produced more positions and rows than necessary.

    C2E_12278
Addressed an issue about panorama created in OLED Menu when had 12sh (SHOTS), while saved and executed correctly, at editing 12mm appeared instead.

Button [≡] acts now as cancel if MECHA is moving, the [power] button acts as emergency stop.
like in UI, cancel will stop smoothly and will rewind in initial position, however, if you wanted emergency stop instead, you can either press again [≡] or the [power] button.

    C2E_12277
Addressed an issue about partial vertical panorama created in OLED Menu resulted not as tall as requested, in some cases.

The [Cancel] button in row/ring UI will stop smoothly and rewind to the initial position where the preset has started.

    C2E_12274
Added P1 support for sensor assisted leveling.
Added in OLED Menu [C 78] ROT. 2 SENSOR is ENABLED/DISSABLED
If E2 or P1 have no sensors (like prototypes) or don't want to use it, it can be disabled there, then the leveling, at power ON will be done without sensor, assuming Parked position.
If using E2 or P1 as vertical rotator, with ROT. 2 SENSOR ENABLED,
at Set Position in SM or out of Menu in Advanced Mode, pressing [up] then quickly [o], MECHA will re-auto-level,
the camera needs to be above and near level, or under level position, down to Parked.
If no Sensor enabled (or supported) Pressing [up] then quickly [o], MECHA will rotate up 90 deg., Pressing [dn] then quickly [o], MECHA will rotate down 90 deg.
So you can now set btn intervals freely as there is [up][o] and [dn][o] for deg.

    C2E_12273
This is beta. Assumes the 'Parked' position of MECHA at powering ON.
At start menu: "- + =", the button [UP] can be pressed to level the panoramic head.
The leveling will be done using the Level amount, available in /config or OLED Menu [C 39]
If the vertical rotator is E2, MECHA will use built in position sensor for reference.
If vertical rotator is E1 or P1, please take care for initial position of rotator to be aligned to a particular reference, or sticker, in parked position, the same (or close to) at every start, the better.
After leveling, MECHA will display the leveling amount and you can adjust with [-] [+] and plus if the level is not perfect.
Confirm with [o] to store the new value of the or [power] to not store, like a temporary level adjustment.
If using E2 as vertical rotator, the level procedure may end in camera looking down around 35 deg
If this is the case, you may need to disassemble and assemble the upper rail rotated with 180°, say, you want to use camera with grip down instead of grip up.
    When adjusting the Level Amount,
' X ' will be shown if you're in area of the positioning sensor.
' ! ' if the sensor wasn't detected at leveling, which is normal in the case of E1 or P1 and may be need for rotation of the rail in the case of E2.

    C2E_12272
Addressed an issue regarding SM and showing Battery Level, Menu failed to display again after press of [Power]

This is beta, please test it before use in production.
Added AUTO for focal length, when editing or entering the preset in OLED
[up] button at mm/sh setting when editing the preset
    It works in two stages.
If preset shows "AUTO" then, at first run, MECHA will launch the wizard to compute the lens parameters and will require press of the [Power] button when the central feature is out of view, that will be for each axis.
After the parameters are computed, the preset will show "COMP(UTED)"
After that, the preset can be launched as usual, or edited.
The wizard will not launch again unless you change from COMP to AUTO at editing.

    C2E_12271
    Many optimizations and small fixes.
Addressed an issue regarding scripts not saved if presets were made on OLED Menu, in some cases.
Increased the number of settings to 19, which can be entered when creating preset in OLED Menu.
Are included Rows Order, and many variants of Nadir and Zenith combinations.
To review all the settings, you can select a "+ preset.." on OLED then press [+] then [=]
After that you can scroll all the settings available using [dn] or [up] buttons, and the values can be changed with [+] and [-]
Press [o] to confirm the settings, even if were not changed, to benefit from all the settings there.
In SM (Simple Mode) added the posibility to rotate the panoramic head when the battery level is shown.
E.g. press [power] to show the battery level then any arrow buttons (or combinations for intervals) to rotate the panoramic head.

    C2E_12270
Added info in Explained Show mode, when editing a preset.
For now, only a single page for each setting, as a reminder of what the setting means.
Might be multiple pages in the future updates.
Kindly refer to User's Guide for in-depth explanations, when needed.

    C2E_12269
Both CS and ES have now the same settings, you can adjust the values, when flashing, with [+],[-]
and swap from Concise to Explained and back with [=]
Confirm the edit of the preset only once with [o], or cancel the edit with [power]

The info for all settings in Explained Show (ES) will be added in next FW update.

    C2E_12268
Some changes when adding or editing a preset in OLED Menu.
Added Explained Show (ES) beside the Concise Show (CS) of the settings in preset.
When a value flashes, it can be changed with [+] or [-] in Concise Show or, with [=], can be switched to Explained Show, which contains only that particular value and some info (WIP).
When in ES, you can switch to another value using arrow buttons, thus most of settings, available only in web UI before, are now available in OLED Menu as well.
As note, the top settings, either mm (focal length) or sh (Shots), can be swapped in between with the up arrow button.

    C2E_12267
Addressed an issue causing READY! message to be shown on OLED, in some cases,
when waiting for confirmation of POSITION or ROT. SENSE.

    C2E_12266
Addressed an issue regarding presets made via OLED Menu with P (Parked) or R (Raised) which ended up as Level.
To fix such presets please do the following:
In OLED Menu Select any preset starting with + having P or R at the end and press [+] then [o]
MECHA will fix that preset to have the correct SP or SR in script.
If the preset has no + at the beginning then is editable only in Web UI, please check if the script has SL, SP, or SR according with the intended start position.
If you've only generated presets in OLED with L (as Level) then you can ignore this issue.

    C2E_12265
    Added in /config
[x] Allow DEGREES - REAL MOVE Switching
This is default OFF, in order to prevent wrong use of the REAL MOVE

    C2E_12264
Improved REAL MOVE ON, to allow different REAL devices on rotators, set with different Interval 3.
Now the Button Interval 3 matters only when adjusting either i3 REAL MOVE 1 or 2
and it can be changed afterwards and use as regular moving interval without affecting the REAL conversions.

    C2E_12263
Added REAL MOVE ON, default DEGREES MOVE ON (as before) OLED [C 18]
This is beta, allows the use of MECHA C2 to control real world devices, like linear rails, including macro, focus so on.., but also rotational devices, say a MECHA P1 rotator is driving a large turntable using a gear box, with ratio unknown or using belt.
    To use it:
    1) mark a reference on REAL device driven by Rotator 1, say, a rail.
    2) switch to DEGREES MOVE ON [C 18] if is not.
    3) Set INTERVAL 3 [C 37] at 1.0 TUR (1 turn or 360°)
you can use other values if 1 TUR. is not appropriate for the device, i.e. too small or too large.
    4) press > or < then [=] to execute 1 turn of MECHA rotation
    5) press [power] then navigate to i3 REAL MOVE 1 [C 74] and adjust the value of movement you saw was executed on REAL device, say 100.0, for 100.0 mm
    6) switch to REAL MOVE ON [C 18]
Now MECHA will interpret all the numeric values as real values, say, 100.0 will be 100 mm on REAL device,
wherever those numeric values are, in button intervals or in presets or scripts.
To go back to values to be interpreted as degrees, switch back to DEGREES MOVE ON [C 18].
Proceed the same for Rotator 2, if needed, with i3 REAL MOVE 2 [C 75] as final adjustment.
Some video tutorial will follow, showing how get out most from this feature.
Is not need to repeat this process unless you've changed the INTERVAL 3 [C 37], or you've changed the REAL device type.

    C2E_12262
Addressed an issue regarding [o] button not triggering the camera when MECHA is in pause.
Added option at OLED [C 74,75] Menu and /config for Zenith and Nadir positions, default 90 and -90.
For backlash purposes, or to have particular overlap, you can change the values accordingly.
MECHA will use those values in scripts instead, where Z and N occurs.

When MECHA is moving, some advanced settings in Row/Ring pages will automatically hide to allow quick access to [STOP] and [CANCEL], those setting will re-appear after the moves are ended, if doesn't, please press [Power] or [STOP]

Added at [C 17] + ASSISTANT at ip 192.168.8.XXX or OFF
this is the address of a second MECHA, like a C1 mounted on hot-shoe, which can be used for triggering purposes, with no cables between the moving parts of the gear.
For now this is only for triggering, FSC (Fast Shutter Conf.) will be added later.
that particular + ASSISTANT MECHA (+) can be either C1 or C2 as long as is in STA mode and connected to main C2 unit's AP
You can set a fixed ip address for (+) in its config, like IP:192.168.8.110 SN:255.255.255.0 GW&DNS:192.168.8.1
This is only for advanced users, please ask on support or forum, if in doubt.
A C2 using a + ASSISTANT will be refereed as C2+ in supporting materials.
C2+ will trigger in the same time C2 and the (+) unit.

[ E: BTN > C. ] MECHA will wait, after any trigger, the confirmation with button [>] of Controller or NN IR Remote to continue.
[ E: BTN > CT ] MECHA will wait only TRG confirmations with button [>], then will use the learned delay(s) to finish the preset.
An option to have the learned delays persistent for later use will be added soon.

    C2E_12227
Addressed an issue regarding presets saved on buttons, if loaded and saved again, the script was not accessible for edit in UI.

    C2E_12226
    Fast Shutter Confirmation (FSC):
Added [E: SHT C1] delay in UI, it works the same as [E: SHT C.] but MECHA sends only One Signal to Camera and waits for TRG confirmations, this is useful when you have camera set for bracketing to press one time on button and camera takes automatically the whole bracketing set.
For DAC, and for now, this will work on MECHA-H-DAC only.

    C2E_12225
Some small changes in the beep routine, MECHA may sound a bit different, this is normal.

Fast Shutter Confirmation (FSC), if enabled, will work with IR remote, provided the correct adapter is used to have both IR receiver and PC Sync Cable connected to AUX port.

For MECHA DAC only: As FSC is still beta, please use in MECHA-H-DAC AUX port if in MECHA-V-DAC doesn't work.

    C2E_12224
    Added in /config
[x] Start with Last Preset Used already selected on OLED Menu.
    enabled by default.
If enabled, MECHA C2 will start quickly and show the last preset used, selected and ready to be executed.
Other preset can be selected instead by pressing the arrow buttons on C2 controller
Or one can exit from C2 P Menu with [power] or switch to C Menu with [≡]
If not enabled, is possible to go directly to the last preset used by pressing [shoot] button at -+≡ Screen
likewise, pressing one of [-] [+] [≡] will go to regular start instead of the quicker to the last preset.
See the "Show your own presets in C2’s Preset Menu"
in C2 User's Guide, for how to add the wanted presets on C2's Preset Menu.

    C2E_12223
Addressed an issue regarding A: delay in MSS with single position on row like 0x1, 60x1 and in other situations when an extra A: delay was produced for simple movements with no shots.

Shutter Confirmation, added an entry on E: delay list,
    "E:SHT C."
and only when this entry is selected the shutter confirmation will be used, either regular or Fast (beta)

If Fast Shutter confirmation is enabled, the PC Sync cable needs to be inserted before powering MECHA ON, or before [Apply] in /config.
MECHA will detect if the PC Sync cable is present and use Fast Shutter Confirmation only if is present, therefore if a wired remote is used to emulate shutter confirmation, please press full and hold its button when clicking on [Apply] then release it after 2 seconds or more.

    C2E_12222
Addressed an issue regarding auto detection of some rotators
C2 - Addressed issues regarding swapping of cables being not fully propagated in various procedures.

    C2E_12221
The Automatic Detection of Rotator Type is retrograded as beta, and will detect only if the rotator type is set on "AUTO"
until we're sure all the rotators out there presents properly.

    C2E_12220
Added support for automatic detection of Rotator Type
If Rotator Type is detected by MECHA to be different from the one set in /config,
it will use the parameters for the detected one instead.
The Rotator Type used will be displayed on OLED, top-left, e.g.
    1 P1
    2 E2

    C2E_12219
On OLED, top-left, the rotator status will show the Rotator Type instead of OK, e.g. E1, E2, P1, or PR if is from preset.
Please check if the rotator is set according with your C2 set-up.
The rotator type can be set via C2 MENU at C, page 7 or in /config

    C2E_12218
This is beta: Added in /config "[x] Enable Fast Shutter Confirmation."
If is enabled, MECHA will wait indefinitely, for each trigger, until the shutter confirmation comes through AUX port via a PC Sync cable.
This should help when the shutter open time is not known, like AEB.
Please test it and send feedback via forum or e-mail support.
Is an extension of the old shutter confirmation, which, reportedly, didn't work well for very short exposure times.

    C2E_12217
On OLED, MECHA C2 will show connection status when is trying to connect to the Wi-Fi in STA or AP+STA mode, the process can be stopped by pressing power button if you know that the targeted Wi-Fi is not in range.

    C2E_12216
Added in OLED Menu, at C 1
    BATT. WARNING
    AT 12.00 V
To adjust the battery warning voltage, full charge the battery before powering ON MECHA
then access and this menu on OLED, and adjust the value using [+] or [-] then confirm with [o], the middle button.
MECHA will display on top-left the battery level in alternation with the motor status.

    C2E_12215
Completed the backlash compensation and backlash compensation calibration
to take in account if the motor cables are switched/swapped.
Added in OLED Menu, at P 8
    BACKLASH 1 COMPENSATION
    and
    BACKLASH 2 COMPENSATION
for starting the backlash compensation calibration for the rotator attached to cable 1 or 2 accordingly.

    C2E_12214
Addressed an issue regarding the exit from OLED Menu if done by power button of IR Remote, was not update the screen properly.
When a preset waits for sense of rotation to be given, MECHA will display on OLED < ? >

    C2E_12213
The presets starting with a power code like 020...089 e.g. 020 My Preset, can be selected from OLED menu from page [P]
To have a particular existing preset on OLED display, you can press long [≡] then again [≡] if needed, to switch to [P] page of the OLED menu, then navigate with arrow buttons to an empty menu entry.
Press the [o] middle button then rename in web UI the preset accordingly.
Alternatively all the presets can be renamed with the above convention and they will be select-able from OLED menu just like the factory tests.
Once a custom preset is selected you can press [o] then [>] or [<] to speccify the sense of rotation
If want to force a preset to rotate directly without specifying the sense, the name can contain the sense, e.g.
    020 My Preset >
    or
    020 My Preset <
in which case the preset will start automatically after pressing the [o] button, in the specified sense of rotation.

    C2E_12212
Addressed an issue regarding the [Shoot] button on NN IR remote and on C2 controller, were not triggering the camera after an emergency stop or when in/after pause from script or if paused by IR remote.

    C2E_12211
    STC, addressed an issue causing the initial opening view to not work if was a positive value e.g. h[1]=6; but worked fine for negative values e.g. h[1]=-6;

    C2E_12210
    This is Beta.
Introducing support for stitchless panoramas and tours for Fanotec products.
More upcoming info at the link below
    Fanotec STC

    C2E_12209
The OLED will display "SHOOT" when triggering camera during the execution of a preset

    C2E_12208
Added /connect page in UI, it allows connection of MECHA to a wireless network in an easier way, by listing the available networks.
The network which has connected successfully last time will be on gray background, that one can be connected by using the stored password instead of typing it.
This page will be enhanced in future FW updates ( e.g. [Update] button will be added soon)

In UI [IMG] is changed in [TRG] - from trigger - to be more precise what MECHA does and how the number of resulting images could differ from triggers when in camera bracketing is used.
MF will send now also the AF signal required for Sony cameras, if is need for no AF signal at all, please select the newly added AF OFF, in AF selection, in UI.

    C2E_12207
Adapted the IR REMOTE TEST code 3231< or via [≡] C6, to work for C2 as well

    C2E_12206
Extended the time for power OFF by NN IR remote to 2 seconds of press and hold,
after that, MECHA will enter in shut-down procedure which can be canceled either from UI,
or by MECHA controller's power button or by another long press of the NN IR Remote power button.
There is in /config [x] Double press the NN IR Remote Power button as alternative to long press
with cancel option at a single press.

    C2E_12205
FavCode 3 is now available only for C1 or (DAC).
For C2, when MECHA is idle, pressing long [≡] on controller or press [≡] on IR Remote will launch the menu on OLED.

    C2E_12204
Addressed an issue in MSS scripts, when the script ended with NN (for two nadirs) MECHA didn't return to initial position e.g. level.

    C2E_12203
The password for 312123< update via the MECHA-UPDATE Hot-Spot,
can be changed in /config from default 87654321 to something else, if wanted.

    Introducing the 3123< code,
This will temporarily switch from AP to STA and connect MECHA to the last Wi-Fi
if the last Wi-Fi is detected by MECHA.

In case of MECHA DAC only
The last Wi-Fi must be around in order for DAC to work.
This will switch the MECHA to MECHA connection to MECHA-Wi-Fi-MECHA scheme.
In areas with lots of interference this will work better than MECHA to MECHA as both MECHAs are in STA MODE
This was tested and is working on Wi-Fi hot-spot produced by on android phones, mobile or regular routers.
For now, it doesn't work on hot-spot from iOS devices, the support for iOS will be added later.
The change is not persistent, at the next power ON the AP-STA mode will reverted to the values set in config/ or by buttons.

    C2E_12202
The preset lists will contain some factory presets (F).
They can be used as is or as base for a new preset.
The inclusion of (F) presets can be disabled in /config
by [x] Show Factory (F) Presets..

The Presets created via OLED, they have a "+" in name, can be edited on OLED menu, by pressing the [+] button then edit as usual.
ATM, if a preset is edited in Web UI then saved, the "+" will not be in the name anymore and it cannot be further edited on OLED.
The OLED will "keep" however a copy of the preset with "+" in name until is explicit deleted by [-] or from Web UI.
The cross editing in both Web UI and OLED of the same preset, will be added later.

Added SIMPLE MODE (SM) and ADVANCED MODE (AM)
SM is default, is recommended to use it until the basics of MECHA C2 are mastered.
In SM MECHA will be always in P or C Menu, pressing the power button will show the battery level or voltage.
SM will have a dedicated Web UI at 192.168.8.1/c2 (WIP) which will behave and look just like C2 controller in order to make easy the use of Web UI once one has mastered the Controller OLED interface.
The /c2 interface will work on DAC too.
The swap from SIMPLE MODE to ADVANCED MODE can be done in OLED Menu C 10.
ADVANCED MODE is the old regular mode with no restrictions.
A new release of the C2 User Guide will cover in depth both SIMPLE and ADVANCED MODE.

Presets created via OLED Menu can have set either number of shots for single axis or focal length.
Press [≡] when 50 mm or 12 sh is flashing to change the input type.
The preset can be set with particular start, as "L" level, "P" Parked or "R" raised.
Accordingly, when MECHA asks to Set POSITION, at running, the expected tilt "Level" or otherwise will be shown on top.

Addressed an issue regarding BATT. WARNING adjustment with [+] [-] not working in OLED Menu.
For presets created on OLED, the name of preset will contain no overlap nor degrees, if are specified by shots (sh) instead of focal length (mm), as it is not relevant, and the "Level" will be assumed as position of the upper rail.
In SIMPLE MODE, the FavCode 1 and FavCode 2 cannot be set in Menu anymore, to avoid the setting by mistake.
