Adding a lens ring to Mecha C2-E2 upper rotator?

Hello I have been using the NN5 for a long time but now want to try using the Mecha for multi-row shots. I am using Nikon 16mm FE and Sigma 8mm FE lenses on an old Nikon DSLR, sometimes with a 1.4X teleconverter.
For an easy set up I would prefer to use a lens ring on the E2 upper rotator, with a bit of adjustment for when I use the 1.4X teleconverter. The multi-row stereo adaptor set utilises lens rings but I was thinking to attach the lens ring direct to the E2 rotator with an Arca clamp. Some advice on what parts I should order to adapt the F9922 would be a great help.

You can replace the upper rail with QRC-40A, QRC-40B (request fitting separately), QRC-40L or QRC-65.
If you want to remove the upper rotator spacer (to reduce bulk), you can use the new lever clamp QRC-40L.

You can also add an Arca Style Parallel Dual Clamp SKU: F9130 to the upper rail. This will clamp the lens ring.
