  • mecha plus mobile phone (samsung s10+ or s22 in my case)

    Hi all, long time no write.
    Hope all is great with all of you.

    After i saw a universal phone adapter i thought i could use some of mine and it would be fun as a very very light setup (appart from mecha weight) but i wondered how the camera would be triggered

    a cable->bluetooth ?
    a cable->usbc?

    i have a cable for sony (that almost fits the s10) but i'm afrait that it will damage it somehow but my really interest was s22

    feedback very welcome

    thank you all

    While you can use now a Bluetooth trigger connected to CAM port of MECHA,
    however in this case a more appropriate approach is for the phone to trigger the camera and send commands to MECHA for movements instead.

    There is RAW interface to allow specialized apps for taking photo on phone to send commands for movement,

    It is on my to-do list to:
    1) make an app which trigger phone's camera and send commands for movements
    and
    2) extend current web UI to trigger the phone's camera directly

    ATM I'm not sure which one: (1) or (2), will be first, but for sure I'll post here.
    1. Mecha it possible.
    2. Mecha it easy.

      I find a cheap BT remote and will be modifying them to accepts trigger by MECHA. They will be offered as an accessory.
