Mecha rebooting

When using a C1-E1 Mecha single axis and running a script the Mecha pauses when you need to alter the horizontal rail manually, push the right arrow > to continue. This works fine if you are using the remote control or pressing the button on the controller. But if you tap the [RIGHT] button on your phone the Mecha reboots. It would be good to be able to tap the button on the phone without this happening as sometimes you don't want to touch the Mecha or use the IR remote. I am new to the Mecha and it may be something I am doing wrong but a reboot is a pain as you could accidentally tap the wrong button on the phone at any time.

Please check if you have the latest version. If not, update to the latest and try again.
Dorin will fix the issue if he can reproduce it.

When MECHA pauses in WEB UI you need to click/tap on [PAUSE] or [NEXT] to continue


I'll change it to show [NEXT] in future FW update even when waits for manual tilting.


Alternativelly, if you running the latest FW, 02397
after you started the preset you can switch to
192.168.8.1/c2

that UI page is there for both C2 and C1 controllers,

and tap the [>] button there to continue



to update to the latest FW you can use the way worked for you before
or follow the instructions in this video

When a preset is paused, or MECHA is in Step by Step mode or waits for manual tilt,
the [PAUSE] button in WEB UI will show [NEXT] instead.

Thanks, I just worked out the pause button, but I had a few reboots again when I accidentally tapped the wrong button even when I tapped the pause button twice. I have just updated the firmware and will see how it goes now.

Tried out the new firmware, still reboots if you hit the wrong button. If you hit the right arrow instead of the Next button it will reboot every time. Using it during the day it's not so likely to hit the wrong button but doing night panos it's a bit easier to accidentally hit the wrong button as you are trying to see the increments on the scale to move to the next position with a dull red light and holding your phone. Would not be a problem with a dual-axis unit.

192.168.8.1/c2

even for a C1 controller

There will be a fix fro re-booting, it just takes some time, say, few days, I'll certainly find some time to look at it.
