  • M series rail stop

Hi Bill, sorry to bug you with this but I need a little help.

I purchased an M1-L a few years ago and haven't used it much so i''m still a newbie to all of this. I have a few bags of extra hardware and not sure what they are all for, but what I'm looking for is what I think is called a "rail stop". I have the MFR-210 upper and lower rails. Are these rail stops an option that I should order? Since I don't know exactly what they look like, I'm not sure if there are some in the extra hardware that I already have.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Marc Perry

    Dear Marc,
What you need is Stop Plate Arca-Swiss Style.

The misc bags are just spare or for use with accessories.

Hey Marc, While a rail stop is best solution in a pinch you could also use a bit of blue tape which doesn't leave tape residue when removed. Did you know your M1L can also double as a gimbal arm? Handy with nature photography.
